If you have watched the famous American musical television series loosely based on the film, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, then Christie might not be a new name. The role was played by former American actress Liberty Phoenix. 

Liberty Phoenix is also known as a founding member of a punk band with her sisters Rain and Summer Phoenix, called The Causey Way. She occasionally supported Rain's band, the Papercranes, with her backup vocals.

Liberty Phoenix Early Life

Liberty Phoenix was born as Liberty Mariposa Phoenix on July 5, 1976, in Caracas, Venezuela. She is is the daughter of a social activist, Arlyn Sharon Phoenix, and her former husband, John Lee Bottom. 

Liberty's father, who was English, along with European ancestry, and her mother, who was Jewish was married from 1968 to 1997. Later, John Lee died because of cancer in 2015. Furthermore, Arlyn is now in a marital relationship with her second husband, Jeffrey Weisberg.

Liberty grew up enjoying the limelight life along with her siblings. Besides, nothing much is known regarding her educational details.

Celebrated Brothers and Sisters

Liberty has four adorable siblings with whom she shares a healthy and close bond. Her eldest brother River Phoenix (b. 1970), who was an actor is no more in this world. But he is always remembered for his incredible acting skills.

Late actor River passed away on October 31, 1993. Similarly, Liberty's second elder sibling, Rain Phoenix (b. 1972), is also a part of the entertainment industry. Rain is an actress who has worked in Even Cowgirls Get the Blues, Harry +Max, etc. 

Likewise, her third elder brother, Joaquin Phoenix (b. 1974), is the Academy Award and various other prestigious award-winning actors. Joaquin has starred in successful movies like Joker, Walk the Line, etc. The 46 aged Joaquin is now engaged to an actress, Rooney Mara. They are also proud parents to their firstborn kid, a son.

Furthermore, Liberty has a younger sister named, Summer Phoenix (b. 1978). Summer is also an actress, model by profession.

Liberty Phoenix is living a happy married life along with her husband, Andy Lord. The duo has been married for more than a decade. The exact date of their wedding is not shared with the media. 

The love birds are living a happy life. Nothing much about their married life is known to the media. As both of them love birds are not active in social media. Andy and Liberty have two children together, a daughter, Emily Lord, and a son, Leo Lord. 

Failed Marriage life with Ernesto Asch

Liberty is not only famous for her successful career but also famous for her relationship history. Liberty was married to her former husband, Ernesto Asch. The duo walked down the wedding aisle on August 11, 1996. 

Ernesto and Liberty had been dating for several years before tying their wedding knot. Their married life was going amazing initially, but it was not meant to be even though they looked too cute together. The couple welcomed their first child as a son, Rio Julio Miguel Asch Phoenix, on June 12, 1997, after one year of their wedding.

The couple welcomed their second son on November 9, 1999. They named him Indigo Orion Asch Phoenix. He died at the age of one due to pneumonia, which was developed by the allergy to new carpeting. That was such a devastating moment for them.

On July 2, 2001, they welcomed their third kid, a first daughter Scarlette Jasmine Asch Phoenix. The formerly married pair were parenting their children jointly. However, without declaring the exact reason, they finalized their divorce on September 24, 2004.

In 2005, Phoenix designed a line of dresses and skirts, selling them to Some Odd Rubies, a boutique in Manhattan. In March 2007, she opened her own eco-friendly Indigo Green Store in Gainesville, Florida. Liberty Phoenix is a vegan like the rest of her family.
