They started dating in the early 90s, but their romantic first meeting is still undisclosed. Their marriage life turned sour after five years, and they parted their ways in 1996. Later, the court auctioned the house and split the sales money between Jean and Him. He, furthermore, bought a house worth $16 Million in 2013 along with his then-fiance, Nicole. The house was spread on 15,600 square feet with nine bedrooms and 14 bathrooms, an elevator, a swimming pool.

Michael paid $15 Million to Jean as a divorce settlement as well as $18,000 monthly for child support. He also paid $22,500 for their daughter's photoshoots, $27,000 on clothing, and $1,700 for sign language classes.

Reportedly in October 2019, Jean accused him of underpaying his child support and also accused of him owing her $500,000. According to Jean, Michael owes her child support payments since 2010 and requested $321,654 in cash.
