Kimes found herself having a verbal fight with an NFL player, Jeff Garcia some time back. It happened after she had made some comments about the other football player Jimmy Garoppolo.

Kimes had commented on Garoppolo saying that he had nothing to do with his team, the 49ers winning. Her comments didn't go down well with Garcia and thus, called her out saying she shouldn't be commenting as she didn't know what it's like to play in the NFL.
