Nicole Brown Simpson

Late German-American model, Nicole Brown Simpson, was the ex-wife of Orenthal James Simpson, aka O.J Simpson, retired professional football player and actor. The name Nicole Brown took over the internet after she was found dead with her friend outside her home in Los Angeles.

Nicole was born on May 19, 1959, in Frankfurt, West Germany as the daughter of Juditha Anne Brown and Louis Hezekiel Brown. Being raised by a German mother and American father, she received her education from Rancho Alamitos High School in Garden Grove, California. Later, she attended Dana Hills High School in Dana Point, California, and graduated in 1977.

On June 12, 1994, a catastrophe dawned upon the Brown family; Nicole was stabbed to death at her home in Los Angeles, along with her friend Ronald Goldman, a model and restaurant waiter. Nicole's ex-husband, O.J. Simpson quickly became the prime suspect for the murder case as he had the legal history of physically abusing, stalking, and making death threats towards Brown. The murder case of Nicole and her friend is the most publicized criminal trial in history and is still unsolved to this day.

Married life with O. J. Simpson 

Nicole was bound in the marital solidarity to former NFL player, O. J. Simpson. Five years after O.J retired from his professional football career, the pair exchanged the wedding vows in an intimate ceremony in Simpson's palatial home in Los Angeles on February 2, 1985.

Their marital relationship led them to share two adorable children. On October 1985, the pair welcomed their first child, Sydney Brooke Simpson. Three years later on August 1988, Brown and Simpson were blessed with their second child, Justin Ryan Simpson.

As for now, the Simpson children are all grown up and working on themselves. None of the siblings have tied the knot with their better half, but Sydney is rumored to be dating Robert Blackmon as they are often spotted spending time together.

Moreover, Nicole is the stepmother to three children, Arnelle L. Simpson, Jason Lamar Simpson, and Aaren Lashone Simpson, from her husband's previous marriage. Nicole and Simpson weren't a compatible partner and got divorced on 1992. Their divorce rumor was talk of the town back in the time referring them as dramatic pair with their on and off relationship.

Victim of Domestic Violence

Brown and Simpson's married life turned sour with each passing year. Basically, James was unfaithful, had anger issues, and was violent at times. Brown was the victim of domestic violence and trust issues from her husband which resulted in her decision to dissolve the marriage and take the custody of her children. 

Mrs. Brown Simpson filed for the divorce stating irreconcilable differences in their marriage on February 25, 1992. Brown and Simpson stayed as man and wife for seven long years and got divorced on 1992. Following the divorce, Nicole and James made an attempt for reconciliation and got back together in 1993. But after a brief period of time, Brown was physically abused again by her husband, to which she ended the relationship with him for forever.

Meeting of Brown and Simpson

Brown and Simpson met back in 1977, after right after Brown's eighteenth birthday. At that time, Nicole was working as a waitress at a nightclub called the Daisy, an upscale Beverly Hills club. 

Simpson was married to his first wife, Marguerite L. Whitley when they first met. Given his unfaithful nature, he didn't hesitate to get involved in a romantic relationship with Nicole, while still being married. Eventually, Simpson and his then-wife Marguerite got divorced in March 1979.

Death of Nicole Brown

Following the divorce, Nicole took custody of her children and was residing in Brentwood, Los Angeles, California. On June 12, 1994, 35-year-old Nicole was found brutally murdered along with her 25 years old friend, Ronald in front of her house. Shortly after their murder, their body was found after midnight on June 13, where she was lying in a fetal position soaked in a pool of blood drained from her own body. 

An autopsy was done after their death, which revealed that Brown was stabbed seven times in neck and scalp. The wound-shot was deep enough to severe both left and right carotid arteries, which also penetrated her right and left jugular veins. On June 16, the friends of the family of Brown gathered at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Brentwood for her funeral. She rests in peace in Ascension Cemetery in Lake Forest, California.

O.J Simpson became the suspect for the murder, to which a trial People of the State of California v. Orenthal James Simpson was held. The criminal trial was held in Los Angeles County Superior Court. The death case of Nicole is still unsolved; however, O.J. Simpson is acquitted on murder for his wife and her friend, Ron.

The estimated net worth of the late model, Nicole Brown was $1 million at the time of her death. For the divorce settlement, Simpson agreed to pay $10,000 per month for child support and $433,750 one time payment. After the civil trial, Simpson was bound to pay $33.5 Millions to the family of the deceased for their wrongful deaths.

The net worth of Nicole's former spouse, Simpson is estimated to be $3 Million. However, in the year of his divorce, his net worth was estimated to be $10.8 million. He is also receiving a pension of $10,565 per month from NFL since 2012. After serving nine years in jail for armed robbery, kidnapping and other charges in Las Vegas, he is now a free man and can work to increase his wealth.
