Peyton Manning

Peyton Manning is a former American Football Player who played for the Indianapolis Colts and the Denver Broncos in the NFL. He was selected by colts with the overall first pick in the 1998 NFL Draft. He played as a quarterback and is considered as one of the greatest.

Manning was born on March 24, 1976, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to parents Archie Manning and Olivia Williams Manning as Peyton Williams Manning. He went to Isidore Newman School in New Orleans for his high school. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Arts.

19 years of marriage

Peyton is married to Ashley Thompson, for almost two decades. Her next-door neighbor introduced the two after the quarterback's high school. They quickly grew fond of each other and are together ever since.

The love birds got married on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2001, in Memphis, Tennessee. They have two children together, twins Marshal Williams and Mosley Thompson, born on March 31, 2011.

The quarterback has an estimated net worth of $200 million. He earned his riches through his glorious career as a professional footballer. He was drafted into the NFL in 1998 and has played for two teams in his career. He was one of the highest-earning players in the league.

Philanthropic Efforts

Peyton started his charity foundation called "The Peyback Foundation" shortly after starting his career. The foundation helps disadvantaged kids in Louisiana, Tennessee, and Indiana. He, along with his brother, also helped to deliver 30,000 pounds of water, Gatorade, baby formula, and diapers during Hurricane Katrina.

Manning's efforts have not gone unnoticed, and he has received Samuel S. Beard Award for Greatest Public Service by an Individual 35 Years or Under. In 2007, St. Vincent Hospital renamed their children's hospital to "Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St.Vincent."
