Who Is Sian Lloyd?

Sian Lloyd is a renowned television news personality who with her hard work and struggle works in a broadcasting field. Lloyd is a presenter and meteorologist on Welsh television. In fact, Llyod is the United Kingdom's longest-serving female weather forecaster having experience on ITV Weather for 24 years, from 1990 until 2014. Along with Lloyd, Helen Willetts, Laura Tobin and Shiri Spear is also pretty experienced British meteorologist. 

Sian Lloyd was born on July 3, 1958, as Sian Mary Lloyd in Glamorgan, Maesteg. She grew up in Glamorgan, Maesteg itself. Both of her parents were educators. Lloyd holds Welsh nationality and belongs to white ethnicity. As of 2019, she is 60 years old.

Lloyd attended Ysgol Gyfun Ystalyfera and then graduated with first-class honors from University College, Cardiff. Then Sian attended Jesus College, Oxford, where she began working for a B.Litt postgraduate. She left college, however, before graduating. In addition, Sian Lloyd gained Met Office College meteorological skills.

Mary Lloyd began her career as a researcher for the nightly news program of the BBC Wales Today. She later worked as an announcer on the British public service TV channel in the Welsh language, S4C. 

In addition, as the best TV weather presenter, Lloyd is the winner of the Television and Radio Industries Club (TRIC) award. She also worked as a weather forecaster at ITV News London. Sian is still active in her career.

Sian was once a married woman. She married a guy named Jonathan Ashman. Ashman is a Wales Secretary of State's motor racing businessman. Lloyd first encountered Ashman at Westminster Palace during Peter Hain's 2007 St David's Day party. After knowing each other for a few months, Jonathan purposed her at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania in December 2007 on holiday.

Then finally, on December 30, 2007, they exchanged the wedding vows, and the wedding took place at Portmeirion Hotel in Gwynedd. After their marriage, the couple welcomed the first baby together, but their child's name is not yet revealed. 

Unfortunately, after eight years of their marriage, the duo separated. The reason for their divorce is not revealed yet without the involvement of any media personal and rumors, the pair split.  

Past Relationship 

In the past, Sian Lloyd was briefly in a relationship with Mark Cavendish, her college sweetheart. The couple met at Cardiff University, and for more than 14 years they were together. Unfortunately, the pair split after dating for a very long time. After ending things with Mark, she started to see former British politician, Lembit Opik. Their relationship couldn't last long and soon broke up with each other

Also, from 2004 to 2006, Llyod had an affair with Montgomeryshire's MP. They even lived in a house outside Newtown, Powys; they together brought in. But later it was announced that in December 2006 the couple is no more together.

Lloyd is currently living a single life after the divorce and enjoys her life to the fullest. She is active on social media, often sharing lovely photos with her colleagues and friends.
