Who is Tina Daheley?

Do you know The Radio 1 Breakfast Show? If yes, she must be familiar with the name Tina Daheley. Well, she is a British journalist and presenter who is considered as one of the most recognized ones on the BBC.

Tina Daheley was born on 16 April 1979 in London, England but raised in Perivale, west London. Further, she is the daughter of first-generation Asian immigrant parents. Daheley holds British citizenship whereas ethnicity is not known. 

Concerning her education, she completes her graduation from  Brunel University majoring in Computer Science. Later, she moved her interest in the journalism field and got a master degree in Journalism.

In 2007, Daheley entered the BBC. She presented women's football television coverage and co-presented the BBC Three political discussion show Free Speech together with Rick Edwards. In addition, Tina also provided the 60-second news on BBC Three, E24 on News Channel and Revealed (BBC Two's Switch Zone).

Tina is frequently seen on BBC One at 8 pm in front of the BBC News Summary. Daheley has been a BBC Breakfast and Victoria Derbyshire relief presenter since July 2016. In September 2016, Daheley, along with Jeremy Vine, became one of Crimewatch's primary presenters.

Likewise, Daheley is the former host of the 1Xtra news show, the flagship news program for BBC Radio 1Xtra. Not only that, she worked as a sports newsreader on The Chris Moyles Show from 2010 to 2012. Besides, she is also very close to her fellow workers Nina Warhurst and Robert Glenister.
