Yvette Prieto is a Cuban model known for her fascinating body figure and ramp walks. She is also widely famous as the wife of the legendary basketball player Michael Jordan. Also, she appeared in the documentary Cuba: An Island Apart as herself.

Yvette was born in Cuba to Marie Prieto and Carlos Prieto in March 1979. Her father is an entrepreneur whereas her mother was also into the business. She has a brother named Carlos Prieto. She hasn't disclosed much about her education but, prior to her modeling career, she was involved in business management. She used to look after her family business before pursuing a career as a model. 

Yvette's career in modeling took her to the glam world. She was recognized by some of the top modeling enterprises, furthermore, she has modeled for the famous designer Alexander Wang. She also starred in many television series including Documentary Cuba: An Island Apart.

Blissfully Married To Michael Jordan

The 42 aged Yvette's prominence rises to fame after sharing her intimate life with popular personality Michael Jordan. Prieto met Jordan at a low-profile dancing bar in Miami in 2007, where both partnered alongside. It was just a freak dance but Cupid had already planned his placement.

The celebrity stars started to get along together. Prieto dated Jordan for three years and finally moved together in February 2009. They later got engaged on the occasion of Christmas 2011.

After two years on April 27, 2013, at Bethesda-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church, Yvette and Michel exchanged the wedding vows. She was looking gorgeous in a strapless wedding gown designed by J'Aton Couture.

Following the marriage, Michael and Yvette became parents to two beautiful girls. Yvette gave birth to twin daughters Ysabel Jordan and Victoria Jordan on December 11, 2013.

Former Affair

Before marrying Michael, the 5-feet-6-inch tall model Yvette dated Julio Iglesias Jr, the brother of famous singer Enrique Iglesias. Iglesias claims that,

"She’s a fantastic girl and I like her. Aside from her beauty, which is obvious, she is loving, simple and very good person.”

However, the couple later ended their love relationship. Previously, Prieto also dated the Charlotte Bobcats owner.

On the other hand, Michael was previously a married man. He was in a marital relationship with Juanita Vanoy from September 1989 to December 2006. Jordan and Vanoy also shared three children, Jasmine Mickael Jordan, Marcus Jordan, and Jeffrey Jordan.
