The Ottawa Senators fan's jaw-dropping penthouse on Century's 40th floor is currently the most expensive property in the market of Los Angeles. Matthew bought the penthouse apartment back in 2011 for $20 million, whose valuation as of now has skyrocketed to $35 Million.

In 2015, Perry sold his Malibu Beach Home for $12.5 million. Perry's real estate lands on of 2.5 acres featuring four bedrooms, six bathrooms, an outdoor pool, a fire pit, and a meditation garden.

The Tragedy with Chandler Bing

The character adored by all, Chandler Bing of friends, had lots of highs and lows in his life. From being addicted to Vicodin to substance abuse, he had been through the toughest times, but like a Phoenix, he rose even higher after every fall and came back stronger.

While enjoying the popularity of Friends, Perry was also battling the addiction. Perry's co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, helped him in his tough times. Three years after the start of the sitcom, Matthew got into the jet ski accident to which the doctors prescribed him Vicodin for pain relief. Perry relied so much on the drug, which ultimately made him get addicted to it.

The youngest cast member of Friends joined the rehab in Minnesota in 1997, where he stayed for 28 days, but the sobriety didn't last long. Later in 2000, Perry got admitted to the hospital for pancreatitis as a result of alcohol abuse. The substance abuse got worse in 2001 as he used to show up to work completely hungover.

Perry checked back into rehab in LA, spent three months, and came out completely sober and clean. Perry abstained himself from alcohol and opiates and living a decent life ever since.

In 2013, the 17 Again star received Champion of Recovery award from the office of National Drug Policy for his Perry House in Malibu, which he sold out in 2015.
