Following her divorce from Duane Chapman, Lyssa Rae Brittain has ducked out of the limelight. But for nine years, she was wedded to her husband Duane, with whom she still shares a good connection.

They first met in a bar during the period of the 1980s in their late twenties. But before meeting him, she was married to a minister of the Assemblies of God. But the marriage ended up in divorce, because of infidelities.

Following this, Chapman offered $1,000 to Lyssa for taking care of his child. The duo then united as husband and wife in the Colorado mountains, performed by a Native American chief on 22nd June 1982. 

However, the couple finalized their divorce on 20th November 1991 after their children started enduring sexual abuse and substance abuse.

Lyssa Rae Brittain and the TV personality Chapman now share three children, two sons, and a daughter. Among the kids, the eldest of her brood passed away.

They are Nicholas Chapman, Tucker Dee Chapman, born on 8th September 1983, and Lyssa Rae Chapman, born on 10th June 1987.

But before their nuptials, they had their oldest daughter Barbara Katie Chapman, born on 8 June 1982. Sadly, Barbara passed away in a car accident on 19th May 2006 outside of Fairbanks, Alaska. She was 23 years old.

After the divorce, they signed an agreement to take the child custody of their two children, Duane Lee Chapman II, (born on 21st January 1973), and Leland Blane Chapman(born on 14th December 1976). As of now, both of their children are running their 50s.

Duane then exchanged his wedding vows with Anne M. Tegnell on 22nd August 1979 in Colorado. They stayed married for four years, but they filed for divorce due to some misunderstandings in 1982.

Later, they took custody of their children, Zebadiah Chapman, Wesley Chapman, and James Robert Chapman.

Fourth and Last Marriage Of Duane 

Soon after his separation from Lyssa Rae Brittain, Chapman married his then-girlfriend, Tawny Marie Chapman in 1992. They met for the first time in 1988 and their romantic life lasted for just two years and separated in 1994. 

However, the divorce was officially finalized in 2002. They did not have any children from this relationship. He married his fifth wife, Beth Smith, on May 20, 2006. Beth died due to throat cancer in 2019. 

Now, the Dog and Beth: On Hunt's star Champan is in a relationship with his new girlfriend Francie Frane. They reportedly dated each other only 10 months later after the death of Beth.
