Who is Natalie Imbruglia?

Australian British singer-songwriter, model, actress Natalie Imbruglia who played Beth Brennan on the Australian soap Neighbours from 1992 to 1994. Likewise, she came to fame widely with her popular hit song Torn which was the cover of the Ednaswap song.

Natalie Imbruglia was born on 4 February 1975 as Natalie Jane Imbruglia. Further, she was born to Elliot Imbruglia (father) and Maxine Anderson (mother) in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. But Jane grew up in Berkeley Vale, New South Wales along with her three siblings before moving to Sydney with her family. Among three siblings, one of her elder sister names is Laura Imbruglia, a singer-songwriter.

Imbruglia holds dual Australian-British citizenship and is of mixed (Sicilian, English, Scottish, Irish, Welsh) ethnicity. Concerning her education, she studied at The McDonald College and later on, she moved to St Peter's Catholic College. At the age of 16, she started her dancing classes and later she went to pursue an acting career. Then, Natalie landed herself a role in the Australian soap opera‘Neighbors, but left in the second years of its production and moved to London in 1994.

Imbruglia moved to London, starting a singing career best known for the Torn hit. Torn was top of the U.K. charts. And the United States, selling over a million copies in the United Kingdom alone. The song remained top of the U.S. radio singles list from March to July until Iris, was published by The Goo Goo Dolls. As of now, she has published four studio albums, selling over nine million records worldwide.

In 2003, Natalie made her first acting debut effective motion a British Comedy film Johnny English, close to Rowan Atkinson on-screen personality, assuming the supporting role,  Lorna Campbell.
